9CRWMN STEEL CHARACTERISTICS
9CrWMn steel is a low alloy cold working mold steel with certain hardenability and wear resistance, small quenching deformation, and uniform distribution of carbides with small particles. This steel has good plasticity and toughness, and lower wear resistance than CrWMn.
Due to its excellent performance characteristics, 9CrWMn steel is widely used in the manufacturing of various types of cold working molds, such as stamping molds, drawing molds, bending molds, shear molds, etc. In these applications, 9CrWMn steel can provide good wear resistance and longer service life, thereby reducing production and maintenance costs.
